Notes Wine Spectator

Beaulieu 2006 : Score 88 "Toasty, with charred mesquite, mulled plum and blackberry fruit flavors, followed by a lingering, fig paste- and graphite-tinged finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Merlot and Cinsault. Taste twice, with consistent notes."

Serre de Berty 2006 : Score 87 "Maturing now, with dried sausage, mesquite and mulled spice notes taking over from the core of black cherry fruit. A smoky edge lingers on the finish. Syrah, Merlot, Grenache and Cinsault. Tasted twice, with consistent notes."

Saint Régis 2007 : Score 87 "Fresh, with a plump edge to the fennel, yellow apple and pear notes, followed by an easygoing finish."

Palissaire 2007 : Score 86 "Offers a nice smoky mesquite note, with iron, briar and mulled black cherry fruit. The tangy finish has a hint of game. Merlot, Grenache, Cinsault and Cabernet."
